Need help after updating to KDE 3.2.1

Hey, I just updated to KDE 3.2.1 from KDE 3.1.4 last night. i installed all the packages via FTP.
But know i am having some problems.

Problem #1. KDM does not allow me to login to my account. it will only allow me to login as root. When i login as myself, the screen goes blank for a second then goes back to KDM. to access my accoung i have to go into the console via ctrl+alt+f1 and then init 3 and login, then start x. Is there anyway i can fix this?

Problem #2. Superkaramba 0.33 is now always on top. therfore i had to close all of my SK themes. anyway i can fix this?

Problem #3. SuseWatcher no longer comes up.
