nearly Convert has Support Issues with TV Card

My mate, who is considering coming over to Linux, has jumped back into the Windows boat, because Windows has support for a Compro Video Mate U3 USB DVB-T Stick that I havent been able to find yet for Linux. Is there a Driver that Linux can use to run this, because he likes the look of MythTV.

I didn't look but the v4l-cvs has support for a pretty wide range of devices. The only problem he will come across is with most USB devices you need to grab the firmware from the Windows drivers, this isn't a difficult process by any means but the word tedious comes to mind.
