named failing constantly


named stops running a couple times a day, I have to restart the service every time to get it back running. How do I troubleshoot this issue?

A good start would be to look at your logs.

I see this suspicious entry, anyone know what this means?

caught SIGTERM, shutting down

SIGTERM is the default signal in kill. You might want to enable debug mode in named so that you can see more verbose logging for BIND.
