Hello.
I just reinstalled mysql and can not start deamon.
Error is the following:

30221 03:37:49 mysqld started
^G/usr/local/libexec/mysqld: File './jakub-bin.1' not found (Errcode: 13)
030221 3:37:49 Could not use jakub-bin for logging (error 13)
030221 3:37:49 /usr/local/libexec/mysqld: Can't create/write to file '/usr/local/var/jakub.pid' (Errcode: 13)
030221 3:37:49 /usr/local/libexec/mysqld: Can't find file: './mysql/host.frm' (errno: 13)
030221 3:37:49 /usr/local/libexec/mysqld: Error on delete of '/usr/local/var/jakub.pid' (Errcode: 13)
030221 03:37:49 mysqld ended

Could someone explain why isnt it starting like it used to efore?

Ok. It is just a thought, but might help.
The error:
might imply you dont have permission to use the file. Have you tried starting the daemon as root( I think you ought to do so).

The other error :
might have do to some PATH problems. Do echo $PATH and check if /usr/local/libexec/mysqld is there.
