mysqld start


Hello all ! What do I have to do to fix this ?
Thanks in advance.

/etc/int.d/mysqld start


Initializing MySQL database: Sorry, the host 'ron-m14567g9bi' could not be looked up.
Please configure the 'hostname' command to return a correct hostname.If you want to solve this at a later stage, restart this script with
the --force option

You need to specify your hostname of your machine ? If your using DHCP to get onto the Internet, it appears its assigning you a hostname that mysql doesn't recognize.

You can specify the hostname for your machine with the hostname command.

man hostname for more details.
