Mysql and httpd memory load is HIGH !!!
Ok guys, I have a problem...
I've a webserver, it is not a very good machine, but it is only for intranet, and only 30 people have to use the site... The problem is that when I connect to the mysql database, the client starts to get slow, and the server is making loading noise like hell... When I look at "top" to see the memory and CPU usages I see a normal load... After a minute of loading noises, I get the message that mysqld and httpd ared killed because of high memory load... What can I do about that ??? I have a 64 MB DIMM, and linux gives the following information about it: total 62 MB, used 5 MB, free 1 MB, shared 0 MB, buffers 0 MB, cached 5 MB, Swap total 100 MB, swap free 0 MB. I think I have to resize my cache or something, does anybody know an other solution ??? Greetz Pariah |
Stop DDoS attacks
See the below URLs. It has been very helpful. If you plan to install firewall, do remember to install only one - either CSF or APF.

Basil - I have been through your posts. You are picking out ancient threads to post links to the same site. If you have an answer, post it in thread.
