MY Videos Wont Play or My MP3's Please Help


Hiya i need some serious help i new to linux and i just learned how to install a d@@n program in five days sad huh? n e way i need help i cant play my mp3's on the xmms player or something please help anything will do

are you using redhat by any chance??

cus if you are
you need to go to the xmms homepage and get the extra rpm (program)
that allows redhat to play mp3's
they excluded mp3 support for legal reasons

and for videos you have to install an video player e.g. mplayer, xine,videolanclient....

i get this when i try to install this please help i think i just might go back to windows
