My pc freezes...(kernel panic) Any ideas?
Well the problem is that my linux get completely frozen after some hours of using them and i far as i know that's called a "kernel panic", but what causes that? I have a soft modem on my pc and i managed to install the linuxant HSF drivers, but i suspect it's them causing the problem..
Here's the last message i get from the kernel before i get the freeze:
Feb 23 04:28:15 linux kernel: SFW2-IN-ILL-TARGET IN=modem0 OUT= MAC= SRC=184.108.40.206 DST=220.127.116.11 LEN=48 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=123 ID=20203 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=3727 DPT=445 WINDOW=16384 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0 OPT (020405B401010402)
Actually this is common message i get while i'm connected on the internet.. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx in advance!
Oh, i'm using Suse 9.2 distribution, with kde 3.3 and i'm using the latest 2.6 kernel (i don't remember the exact version).
