My new gnome is unresponsive.
I use Mandriva 2007, and for a long time I used the KDE desktop. Today I decided to try Gnome. So I switch it over and rebooted. It starts fine, but I can't move my mouse pointer. This happened with KDE too, but I could use the console key to get to the configuration menu and get it to work. With gnome the console key doesn't work. No key I press has any effect at all, so I can't switch back to KDE. The mouse is a Logitec Cordless Mouseman Optical. I tryed another optical mouse (which has issues) and also a PS/2 mouse. No dice. Any help would be appriciated.
