my linux hung at "initializing hardware... storage"

The last thing i did was to edit my modprobe.conf , then I rebooted and it showed my this screen:

i tried the rescue mode and but i cant find the modprobe.conf in /etc

i got an error having my system mounted under /mnt/sysimage , i have attached another screenshot :

i do a find / -name mobprobe*

the mobprobe.conf is located in /tmp but that's not the one.

here's my mount df -h :

try to get your /home directory backed up, and any stuff you have done yourself (maybe in /usr/local ) then reinstall. why did you alter /etc/moddules.conf? two disks do not work for a r.a.i.d
