Hello. I want to setup 2 monitors.
I have the following hardware:
1 - Video: NVidia GeForce MX400 32M + Monitor: Samsung 17''
2 - Video: S3Trio64V+ 1M + Monitor: GVC 14''
I've managed to configure XF86Config file so that X starts on each card separatekly, but whe trying to use them both - the system hangs.
Where can be a trouble?

I think you need to enable Xinerama extensions if you want to have one X session spread over two physical monitors. Search this site, since im sure this has been answered how to setup before. But some people prefer having to seperate X sessions (so you can drag the mouse, but you can't drag windows from one monitor to the other). If you want to stay with that setup, which is in some cases better, i suggest you use a light window manager, such as blackbox/fluxbox or window maker, because habing to GNOME or KDE desktops running takes quite a bit of resources.
