multiple HDD and OS's ???

I currently have just one HDD partitioned up into 4 primary partitions i.e. /boot, /swap, / and /home.

If I installed a second HDD would I need to change the partitioning setup so some on the first HDD are extended ??? or is the "rule" a max of 4 primary partitions on each hard drive ?

Sorry if thats a bit daft sounding, but it seems that I may have to re-install windows. I'm not quite sure yet ?????

regards

John

No, the second drive has it's own set of partitions.
