multibooting linux with BSD,Solaris,etc.

is anyone familiar with the process of booting BSD flavors, solaris, or other UNIX flavors on the same machine with Linux? Is LILO capable of handling the other OSes, are there special parameters that need to be set in the Lilo.conf, or special consierations to be met with the other OSes?
