Serena Member Registered: Apr 2002 Distribution: Debian 11.0 Posts: 97 Rep:	Mpu-401 I know Linux supports MPU-401 which my sound card has. Win98 detected it but RH7.2 didn't. Should I ignore this or compile a new kernel to gain support? I know MPU-401 has something to do with MIDI but that's it. I don't have any external MIDI devices, and though my sound card has a place for a wavetable card to go I've never been able to find the actual card.
