mplayer cant play rm files.
i download mplayer rpms from default repositoresi from synaptic.
under mplayer preferences in codec tab there is manycodec to choose and realvideo codec is also in that tab still cant play rm files.
where to find the newest codec for real video. and how to install it.

Woww.. I've downloaded mplayer's sources and compiled it.. Without any special options about codecs. And it plays everything perfectly. divx, xvid, real media.. Btw, you are talking about gmplayer, right? Maybe there is something about video output (-vo) option?
i'm not aware of how the rpms deal with Real files, but what you need to do is ensure you have RealOne or Realplayer8 installed on your system and then compile mplayer, with "./configure --with-reallib-dir=/where/realplayer/is" or a similar command, and this should then be able to play rm files after installation.
