MP3 Player

For some reason when I double click on an MP3 icon Konqueror crashes. If I open up the file through X-Multimedia System the file plays fine. How do you change the default player for MP3's? I want it to open up X-Multimedia every time I click on an MP3. How is this done?

Well, you can choose settings -> configure konqueror.. then flip to the "file associations" screen and change which app fires up for mp3 (and other audio) files.

You can also get there k menu -> preferences -> file browsing -> file associations.

Another thing: you can right click on the mp3 and choose "open with" and it will list all of the audio players that you have installed. Or choose other, if you want to open the mp3 with say, kedit...

Thanks. I knew about the right click thing but I wasn't sure where the file associations was. Thanks again.
