mp3 is not supported in redhat?

hi,

i installed linux redhat 9
now i have a mp3 player trough a usb.
i took some songs of it and tryed to play it in "xmms"disks
which is installed by default trough the red had instalation.

i have added over 27 mp3 songs in the playlist.
but it just skips them all.

( my mp3 songs were copyed from the mp3 player to the hard disk.)

my mp3 songs on my mp3 player where putted on trough windows XP
maybe that has something to do with it?

can somebody help me out?

or tell me what kind of program i need to download/install so i can play my mp3ś

with kind regards,
Marco Tiggelaar
