Mozilla 1.5 cookies

I have 2 Mozilla 1.5 accounts on RedHat 7.2. On one account I can get eBay with images. On the other account eBay says my browser doesn't accept cookies. In Navigator preferences there are different 'helper applications' . Under 'cookies' one account selects 'Enable cookies for the originating website only', the other account selects 'Enable all cookies'. Under 'validation' one account selects 'Do not use OCSP for certificate validation', the other account selects 'Use OCSP to validate only certificates that specify an OCSP server URL'. Questions-(1) Do the helper applications affect cookies?-(2) Is the cookie selection in the second account the problem? and (3) Is the validation selection the problem? Thanks

I checked Mozilla preferences-i.e. click 'Navigator', then 'cookies', then 'manage cookies', then 'cookie sites'. 'Cookie sites' lists sites that can and cannot store cookies on your computer. There I found 'signin ebay' listed as a site that cannot store cookies. After I removed same there was no difficulty signing in to eBay. Thanks to all those who viewed my post. Larry
