Mozilla 'mark all read' shortcut in mail/news not working

Hi

the 'mark all read' or 'mark folder read' shortcut (ctrl-shift-c) in
mozilla 1.6 mail/news is not working for me - as if the key shortcut was ignored.
I am running Mandrake 10.0 RC1 and updated it from cooker to bring it in line
with the 10.0 community
Same behavior under KDE and Gnome.

does it work/not work for others? hints?

Seems to me that this is a bug report which shoudl be directed to the Mozilla developers.

OK I solved it - the problem must lie in the mandrakization of the product ...

I installed (in /usr/local/mozilla) the stock mozilla 1.6 downloaded from the site
I edited /usr/bin/mozilla to point to that installation (instead of /usr/lib/mozilla1.6)

and now ctrl-shift-C works

well,
things changed for bad - the stock mozilla 1.6 is not compiled using gtk2 so the excellent mozFreeDesktopIntegration tool crashes. reverted back to the supplied one.
