Moving big files across OSes

Hi, I'm running Xubuntu 8.10 inside windows vista sp1. I have some rather large ISOes (6 and 7 GB). When I tried burning them to DVD 9's I got an error in brasero. I don't have any other media that is large enough to move the files. Any ideas?

Are you trying to move the files into a virtual machine? If so, most virtual machine software has some kind of virtual file sharing capabilities.

You should still be able to use the virtual file-sharing mechanism. What virtualization software are you using?

sorry, what do you mean? I don't think I'm using any virtualization software. If you mean network file sharing: samba, although I haven't completely configured it. I am not virtualizing Xubuntu in vista, I installed it as a 30 GB partition inside the windows partition (in the wubi menu the option "Install inside Windows").
