Move from RH 7.3 to Centos/Fedora

Hi,

I have a RH 7.3 server. I'd like to move it to a more recent distribution like Centos 4 or maybe Fedora. I'd rather not try and do an upgrade. :)

Is there a reccomended way to move all the settings from 7.3 to Centos other
than one at a time and test each one?

I can move the disk holding /home over to the new box so I don't need to
do a full-up tar/backup/restore. I'm more interested in installing a fresh
Centos build and moving the settings and user disk over.

Any gotcha's are greatly appreciated.

thanks,
mike

Just backup any /etc configurations you have to use for a reference. Some settings might differ with newer packages though, but you are better off just installing a newer version, then importing everything else.
