Mounting IMG file on suse 9.3


how to mount an IMG file? is it same ways with mounting ISO file?

to mount an iso manually type :

su
<your root password>
mkdir /mnt/iso
mount -o loop -t iso9660 FILENAME.iso /mnt/iso

to unmount it type :
umount -d /mnt/iso

mount -o loop file.img /mnt/somewhere
make sure it's not a compressed IMG file first, though...
