"mount: not a directory" pmount error when file system is out
>pmount -t hfsplus /dev/sdb mp01
mount: Not a directory
This happened to my penguin. (Usually no error) It turned out to be that the external drive is corrupted. It looks like hardware failure. Anyway, the error message was not quite intuitive.
Take home message:
Whoever sees the message above, check drive failure!
