more access?///console commands
i was wondering whenever i have to change something even miniscule, i have to log in as root

how do i give my regular userr more access?

also i already looked on google, but where can i see a list of commands for all things ip/networking related?

You don't want users to screw with the system. Either sudo or su - if you need to administer your system.

That's elementary security.

no i really do want users to screw with the system, because i am the only user

and i already know about su, i jsut dont want to have to marrr

just how do i give my user more access, in the GUI

and i dont want as much acess as root but just more

Look through the Mandrake Control Center and I think 'drake includes linuxconf for command line.
