monitoring tool

Is there any monitoring tool which can connect to remote ubuntu Linux box and check CPU , Memory usage , load etc ?

I want to install this tool in Windows XP+SP2 box and then connect to remote ubuntu Linux box for monitoring its data.

I have googled and found nagios is such a tool probably . Can I install nagios in Windows XP BOX ?

If not , please suggest few tools which could be helpful to achieve my goal.

you might install putty on your Windows box. With putty, you can establish a telnet or ssh connection to your Ubuntu machine, log into a console and use almost any text-based tool.
