mondorescue or partimage?

I have Norton Ghost, and have backed up to an external hard drive with it (USB 2.0/1.1 HD Enclosure) for a Windows partition.

Now I want to backup my Linux boxes (Grub, Lilo, Ext3 and ReiserFS are all used). Ghost sucks for this (Grub not supported at all).

After reading through a bunch of posts on "Ghosting" or imaging Linux computers, mondorescue and partimage kept coming up. I was not able, however, to find a post that compared the two of them.

Has anyone used both of them? If so, would you mind sharing your opinions of them and which you preferred and why?

Also if you had problems with either and/or you have tried this with Windows partitions (NTFS/XP is the one I care most about), that would be helpful as well.
