I am using RedHat 7.3 and I just finished compiling a new Kernel (2.4.21).
[Applause] ... Thank you.
In RedHat, there is a file called module-info-2.4.x-x.x, it is a list of modules. I can't find any useful information concerning module-info which seems to be RedHat specific.
So...
module-info-2.4.x.x.x is part of the kernel RPM created by RedHat.
The lack of a module-info file is not causing any problems - as far as I can tell.
However, it would be nice to find out its truth purpose.
If it is part of the Kernel RPM and it is located in the /boot, it must have a reason for existing.
