yeah and this book is really helpful im leanring alot, too bad my modem mis behaves sometimes but its done that under windows 95 and 2k, i think i need to update the firmware. So far Red hat was great. Installing things seems like it could be alot of work but i got the book to teach me to to use RPM's and compile .tar files so i should be ok

If you have not used up2date before then check it out.

You can register the machine and get a free demo account, as far as I know you can continue to use the free account as long as it's active and you answer a couple of questions from redhat.

It is a great asset to your redhat system.

Yeah it mentioned me entering some code, i got the Publishers Edition that came with my book. Do you think i still qualify or do i actually have to buy a lisence from Redhat?

mabey i need to dig thought some dialogs better to find the demo account now that i mention it, im on windows now but ill for sure check it out again
