Is there a good way to update to the latest version of Fedora
without taking the machine out of service while you install the upgrade from DVD?
A friend of mine invented a method which only requires a quick reboot to load the new kernel. It does work, but it's not perfect and my confidence in the method is somewhat less than complete. Is there an 'official' - or at least thoroughly tested - method?
Suggestions?
Thanks!

PS: If no one has a
good method, I'll describe the method and let you blow holes in it.
