Microsoft Family Safety access from a Linux desktop

Since I am responsible for checking some security reports for some kids
that use a windows computer with Microsoft family safety installed
that is located at the home of a family member that is not so tech savvy
and quite dyslexic.
I need to be able to log in to the family safety website from within Linux.
I have the Hotmail account that is coupled with that to relay the messages
to my Gmail that I normally use, only those reports are send to the Hotmail
nothing else. This relaying works fine and normally there is no need to
look into the usage data from this computer they use some games school stuff
and view some youtube and so on.

Lately however there is a sudden increase in possibly inappropriate material
(in the recently blocked part of the e-mail I get every week).
that has been blocked (mostly porn) and since there needs to be a talk
with one of the kids (we know which one) I would like to be able to login
to the family safety website to have a better understanding of what is going on.
So my partner (his grandma) and his parents have a better understanding of it.

It seems to be impossible however to login to the Microsoft family safety website
from a Linux computer. It used to be possible to do so (and to login to hotmail to)
by simply changing our browser id.
I have used the user agent switcher in Firefox to do so
actually Iceweasel the Debian version of Firefox
that (Debian) is also the OS that I mainly use on our computers.

But changing your browser id does not seem to work anymore.

Since I do not have any windows computer left in my home
every thing in my place runs Linux or android and such
this is a problem.
And I do not want to make a big fuss out if it by asking
and maybe needlesly alarming the kids father
to use his laptop to login to this website.
First we need to so if it is really such a big problem.
And I most certainly don't want to install a Windows version
specially for this and pay a 100 euro's for a licence.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this from Debian Linux ?

kind regards,

Sietze van de Burgt

PS: please forgive me for any language mistakes I make
since English is not my native speech.

There are VHDs provided by Microsoft for testing web pages in IE even in Linux environments. Download from here.
