Messed up grub

Hi,

I pulled a super noobie movie and deleted my linux partition on my dual boot system thinking I had my windows CD with me so I could just run a fixmbr command at the prompt after I did it. I later realized I don't have the CDs now I'm stuck at GRUB loading, please wait... error 22

Does anyone have any ideas how I can repair the MBR and get back into Windows? I don't have any Windows CDs and I don't have anything to make a floppy with. Do they have boot CDs (like bootdisks)?

I should mention that I have a SUSE and Ubuntu CDs with me, don't know if they will be of any help though.

Got the feeling my last link in the signature has the answers you are after.

Task B and J3 should be useful for you.

The Live CD is really for getting a kernel up and running. I believe there is a rescue option in Suse disk.

Go pull a (recent) dos boot image off the net and boot that.
"fdisk /mbr" still works, even for XP.
