memory for crash kernel not within permissible range

How do I get rid of this message during boot. I have tried the system-config-kdump command but it gives me a "no command found" reply. I am using CentOS 5.4.

Thanks,

JC Hidalgo

it's a message of the informational level so you're free to ignore it without repercussions. See Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 431584, esp. comment #5.
