Question Mem Questions??

Is this normal??

Looking at top I see that running just the KDE desktop, with 2 virtual screens, I have approx 15megs free, out of 3megs!!

100megs are buffered, whatever that means, 133megs cached, and I think that I have 128megs for the AGP aperture in the BIOS.

There are 8 different instances of kdeinit, doesn't that seem wierd?

What does everyone else find?

Sorry!!

380megs.

I think that I have solved it. I changed in the BIOS the size of the AGP Aperture (which does anyone know about??), and now I have 260megs free!!

Wierd.

And last time I wasn't running Netscape!
