So I have a mdadm-controlled RAID 10 that's been working fine for about 2 years. I backed up everything on the RAID in preparation for the move to a hardware RAID 5 (was going to wipe the 4 disks and re-initialize them in a hardware RAID 5, then copy everything back onto the array.
Unfortunately it appears that the RAID card is too new for my OS (Adaptec 6405, OpenSUSE 11.4), so I decided to update my OS to OpenSUSE 12.2. Before updating the OS, I decided to back up everything on my root drive to the backup drive as well, so that I could restore my config files, etc. on the new OS.
Unfortunately I made a mistake in my copy command and managed to remove several important files off of the RAID backup. My goal now is to re-mount my original RAID 10 to re-copy those files back onto the backup drive before going forward with the format, reinstall, and re-initialization of the RAID onto the hardware controller.
The problem I'm facing is my RAID 10 array does not want to re-mount, and I'm not sure why. mdadm seems happy, fdisk seems happy, yet the device does not exist for me to mount.

So what am I missing?
/dev/md127 used to be the container
/dev/md126 used to be the device
/dev/md126p1 used to be the 4TB ext4 partition on the RAID
It seems the /dev/md127 is happy, /dev/md126 is happy, fdisk reports the existence of /dev/md126p1 like normal, yet there is no /dev/md126p1 for me to mount?
I copied the output of mdadm --detail /dev/md126 when it was working fine:

The only difference between that and what I'm seeing now is the State used to be "active" and now it's "clean". Is there some command I'm missing to set the RAID to active status?
