MBR Recovery automatization with Boot-Floppy?

Well, as I see there are lots of lost Partition here.

Could somebody explain howto make something like this:

A Boot Floppy where the MBR-Backup-File is on.

A Script should copy the MBR-Backup-File to the MBR with dd so after rebooting the OS should find the partitions again.

This shouldn't be so difficult to realize.

Lots of people would be helped.

Thanx

Sören

If you are using grub and you have the system correctly configured for the current partitions then you should format a NEW floppy and do as root;
grub-install /dev/fd0
I personally keep bootcd version because it is more reliable than a floppy because a floppy always fails when you need it most.

OK, but how do I do some like that?
