-march optimisation for kernel
I've recently installed Gentoo 1.4, their kernels all have support for Athlon-XP optimisation, I fire up make menuconfig, and select it.
However, I've installed 2.4.22 from kernel.org and the option isn't there, I've had to select the standard athlon.
I'd either like to have the Athlon-XP option, or simply to get gcc to compile for athlon-xp. I know it won't make much difference, but this is as much about learning how the kernel configuration works as anything else...
