the first time i installed it it started up fine and i was able to do everything.
i booted it up again later and it brings me to a command screen instead....
it has never gone back to running normaly ever since.......
when i was able to run the ilnux gui like normally i deletd the guest profile? does that help?
i have 2008 version on a Intel Mac late 2006

i solved my own problem
it appears that i did infact delete the guest profile and soo i iso'ed a new disk and whA Bamm i got my self working again!
