Mandrake /Root login

How, other than in console, do I log into /root in mandrake 9.1? is there a way to add /root to the login screen?

Yes, there is. Go into Configuration - KDE - System - Login Manager. Choose the Users Tab, look at the hidden users, and de-select root. It is a little more secure for Root not to appear at the Login screen, by the way.

That would be if he's changed the Display Manager from the default MdkDM to KDM.
