Mandrake 9.1 reboot menu

Ok, I'm having an interesting problem. I'm dual booting Windows XP and Linux and when I start the menu comes up giving me a choice of which OS I want to run. If I'm in Linux and I go to log off, and then press reboot the menu comes up with nothing in it. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
