making background a shell

Is there a way that I could make my background instead of a picture, a shell? I think it would be cool to click on the background and type as i was in a shell. I am using RedHat 8.0.
Anyone with any suggestions Please help.
Thanks.

Nakkaya, root-tail (as the tail in its name
suggests) only displays files (most likely a
system log so you see changes) ... it does
not accept interaction.

Cheers,
Tink
