wtf does:

makes pointer from interget without a cast

( compiling...well 'make'ing so i can make install 2.6.9 kernel and i see that on my screen every one in a while )

is that bad ? :-\

That is just a compiler message that the coder has been lazy when defining types for the variables one is using.

haha okay cool.

but uhh...i obviously messed something up...when i load the 2.6.9 kernel i can't see the command prompt..but it works because if i log in and startx kde pops up...when i log out back to cp i again can't see it.
should i try to recompile, ( reconfigure then recompile ) try to fix the error ? also my usb mouse no longer gets detected... is there some log or something i can post to show people ?

The config you used (.config -file in source tree or /boot/config-KVERS [atleast in debian]) might reveal the reason.

i found a thread that helps with some of the common problems i am experiancing, but if i can't resolve all of them i will post back with the contents of .config
