Make a Install CD from my compiled Kernel (2.6.18.1)
Hello.
I just compiled the Linux Kernel, and i want to make an Install CD so that i can install linux and my kernel will be installed. Is this possible? If so, can someone direct me in the right way? Thanks in advance! |
Yes, but the actual method would depend on the distribution you are using, which you didn't mention.

Sorry, i'm running Ubuntu 8.04.

~Bump~
I'm running Gentoo now. I want to compile all the kernel, and install GNOME, and then put it onto CD, so that i could just install from the CD with Gentoo and GNOME installed. How would i go about this? |
This one is for ubuntu, so you will have to google it for gentoo.
