Mac Address


I'm running suse 10. How do I find out the mac address of the network card?

use the command 'ifconfig ethX' where X is the number of the network card.. it would be 0 if its the only card in the computer. the output lists the MAC address as 'HWaddr' or something similar.

HWaddr is the MAC.
