Unhappy Lycos UK chat site at chat.lycos.co.uk

Hi Guys.

I so want to dump Windows but there is one thing stopping me (aside from my scanner not working under it but thats one for another thread ) and that's Lycos chat. I use this site a lot and while I'm guessing its the way the site is written (ie exclusively for Internet Explorer) is there anyone who knows HTML etc etc could tell me why it doesn't work properly with the usual browsers under Linux? I've tried Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox (lates pre-release) Konqueror, Opera, etc etc and they all suffer from the same problem in that the text gets to the bottom of the screen and then refuses to scroll up.

Ive downloaded and installed java from sun and configured it for the browsers that can use it and still the problem occurs. I've also installed flash but thats just used for all the fancy bits like the adverts etc etc. I wonder if anybody could shed some light on the subject or if anyone has this working they could tell me how?

Thanks,
Simon
