LVM to mirror boot disk on Linux?

Is is possible to use Linux LVM to mirror the boot disk on a Linux PC? I have used it to set up a concated volume, but I need it to be a mirrored volume, same as a typical Solaris SVM redundant setup. I've looked around some on-line but not much seems to be out there. Thanks for any info.
