lss picture format?

Do u know if the lss is a picture format? Do u know how i can create a file with such extension?

This lss filetype is not a picture format as far as I'm aware. Its etiher Legato Spreadsheet file (from IBM), or LotusScript Macro Language file. I couldn't find any refrence to it being used for images.

How bout the one in the Fedora/RedHat distros which appear in the CD known as splash.lss?

I found this in a mailing list where i converted it to splash.ppm using "lss16toppm" tool.
U will see the bootlogo when opening it in GIMP.

lss16toppm <splash.lss> splash.ppm

===================================
Todo the other way round, use ppmtolss16.
lss16toppm <splash.ppm> splash.lss

-->Im having problem here :(
It didn't work. Wat i saw was just a blank screen.
