Lost Execution rights of "chmod"


Only god knows how i did it, but i've lost my execution rights of the file "chmod"

Its like: chmod rw-r--r--

How can i get the rights back?!

try to copy out chmod from coreutils.rpm

You get two bonus points for originality.

Boot the system with the CD in rescue mode and change the permissions from there. Alternatively, boot with tomsrtbt:
http://www.toms.net/rb/
and mount the root file system that way.
