loss information by installing linux

I use from one of my windows partition to install Linux (fc8). after installation i understand that remove a useful partition and lost my information.
is there any way to recovery my information?

If what you meant is you installed Linux on one of your Windows partitions, then no I do not think you can recover your information. During install the partition was probably reformatted and therefore erasing all information that was on it.

The best thing to do when installing a Linux distro is to first backup your data (always a good idea no matter what you are doing).

Then, make a new partition for Linux rather than using a whole windows partition.

it reminds of a book i once read where the writer was the person in charge of taking a famous hacker to task, where he mentions undeleting a unix partition. this was a very long time ago, i couldn't help you out as far as todays filesystems are concerned (please do try searching for "ext3 unformatting"). i'd try to resign myself to the fact that the win data is gone.
