Looking for Project ideas on Linux
 

I am doing BSCS, and this is my 4th semester. I have a course Operating System and yet there are only 3 to 4 lectures held. We have assigned a task to come up with any project idea, on which we will work during whole semester.

The project should be directly related to Operating System(Linux including Android) and not any application. I have only 3 months to complete this project. So, Please guys give me some good ideas and/or Give me a right direction to work on.

I have experiance in C, C++, JAVA and Assembly.

You mentioned "related to Operating System Linux or Android" Is there a particular distribution that you have an intrest in that you would like to be your "Project Idea" ?

You could write about using C++ and the compilation, configure, make and etc.... process using a particular distro.

As I mentioned I am studying a complete OS course, and at this point I have not much idea about the complete "kernal thing". Thats why I started this threat. Here I am not intrested for looking those porjects in which I am intrested, I am looking for new ideas on which i will work and learn some new things...
So please kindly give me some Project Ideas, not wiki links...
