log files for ssh/ftp?


where can i find a list of logins or attempted logins to ssh or ftp?


i have rh8

/var/log/secure for ssh and /var/log/messages for ftp

Also at times you will have a xferlog for details on the transfers on files thru FTP. Also you might have a separate log for FTP, like if your using proftpd, you should have a proftpd.log in your /var/log directory.
